Here to Help — The California Jazz Foundation

I had the pleasure of meeting Edythe Bronston, president of the California Jazz Foundation (CJF), at this year's Monterey Jazz Festival. CJF is based in Los Angeles and Edy told me about the CJF's outreach efforts to include musicians in Northern California.

The CJF is a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization dedicated to helping jazz musicians in a medical or life crisis, either by referring them to their extensive medical referral network or by providing emergency financial assistance. CJF is pleased to have the support and participation of many well-known and respected members of the jazz community and entertainment industry.
